A018  Little Red Riding Hood
     All right. This is the story of Little Red Riding Hood, which I told my children, both my children, um when they were young and which I had been told by my maternal grand-mother. Um Little Red Riding Hood was given that name because she had um she wore a red cape um that she wore around her. 
     In some versions of the story she wore a red hat but in the version I heard it was a red cape. And um one day Little Red Riding Hood was was um walking in the woods. And um she happened to see a wolf.  And a wolf um really was hungry and he wanted to eat her but he didn�ft want to eat her in public. So um um he told her um �gLittle Red Riding Hood, why don�ft you go over there and look at those flowers.  Aren�ft they beautiful?�h  And she said, �gYeah.�h  �gGo picks some.�h  And then um because she had told him that she was on her way to her grand-mother�fs house, he said, �gThat makes a wonderful present for grand-mother, wouldn�ft it?�h So she said, �gYes,�h and she went over and she um looked at the flowers and picked some.  She made a big bouquet and she took those to her grand-mother�fs house. And in the meantime, the wolf had disappeared, um while she was looking at the flowers. So um she walked down to her grand-mother�fs house and she went inside and the grandma was in bed.  And um she looked at her grand-mother and she said, �gOh, Grandma, I mean, you your um your hands are so big.�h  And Grandma said, �gOh just big.�h  And she said, �gYour eyes are so big, too.�h And um Grandma said, �gWell, um they are just big.�h  And then she said, �gAnd Grandma, your teeth are so big.�h  And Grandma said, �gYes, my teeth are big, all the better to eat you.�h  Of course it was the wolf and the wolf immediately ate her.  Turns out that um um in the neighborhood was the hunter.  And the hunter heard the noise, heard some noise inside the house and he came inside. And he saw the wolf dressed in um in grand-mother�fs clothes. He killed the wolf immediately and took the wolf outside. And um um he cut the wolf open, with his knife with his hunter�fs knife he cut the wolf open. And out popped, not only Little Red Riding Hood, but Grandma. They jumped out of the of the wolf�fs belly.  And they said, �gWow.�h  Um �gLet�fs just make sure that um this wolf is dead. So they put the the hunter put a lot of heavy stones in, inside the wolf�fs belly and tied him up. And throw him down a wall.  They wanted to make sure that um that wolf was dead.  Um and they did and um of course um Grandma and um Little Red Riding Hood lived happily ever after that and the evil wolf was dead.
