O 002 Little Red Riding Hood Once upon a time there was a young girl called Little Red Riding Hood. And she was called that because shefd use to wear a red cape with a red hood every day. And on one day, she decided to go visit her grandmother with some freshly baked scones. But on the way to her grandmotherfs house when Little Red Riding Hood was passing through the forest, she decided to pick some flowers to bring her grandmother. And while she was in the forest she felt like she was being watched. She wasnft sure what was watching her. But there was definitely something there. So she picked the flowers very quickly and continued on to her grandmotherfs house. And when she got there, she knocked on the door with a knock, knock, knock. And she heard a voice from inside saying, gCome in, my dear.h And so she entered the room. But her grandmother looked different from normal. She was lying in bed dressed in her bed clothes and her bonnet. But she was much bigger than normal. And Little Red Riding Hood thought that there was something strange going on. She said, gMy grandmother, what big eyes you have!h And the person in the bed said, gAll the better to see you with, my dear. But then Little Red Riding Hood took one step further and said, gMy grandmother, what big ears you have!h And the person in the bed said, hAll the better to hear you with, my dear.h But Little Red Riding Hood took another step closer and she said, hMy grandmother, what big nose you have!h And the person in the bed said, gAll the better to smell you with, my dear.h And finally, Little Red Riding Hood took the final step and said, gGrandmother, what big teeth you have!h And the person in the bed, who was actually a wolf, who had been following Little Red Riding Hood in the forest and who had got to the grandmotherfs house before Little Red Riding Hood and dressed in the grandmotherfs clothes said, gAll the better to eat you with,h and jumped out of the bed. But just before the wolf could lunge at Little Red Riding Hood and eat her all up, Little Red Riding Hoodfs grandmother who had been tied in the cupboard escaped and smacked the wolf over the head with an ax and Little Red Riding Hood and the grandmother, the actual grandmother, had a lovely afternoon tea of scones. And they lived happily ever after.
