UK 004 The Three Little Pigs Once upon a time, there were three little pigs. They lived at home with their mother. And time came when they had to leave their home and seek their own fortune. Before they left, their mother told them, gAlways try your best. That is how you get along in the world.h So they set off, all three together. The first little pig decided to build a house made of straw. He built it and his brothers helped him. The second pig built his house of sticks. And the third little pig built his house of bricks. And they all lived in their houses very happily. One night, a wolf came to the first little pigfs house and knocked on the door. He said, gLittle pig, little pig, let me come in.h The little pig said, gNot by the hairs of my chinny chin chin. I will not let you in.h So the wolf said, gOk. Ifll huff, and Ifll puff, and Ifll blow your house down. And he did. He huffed, and he puffed and he blew the little pigfs house down. And he ate up the first little pig. The second little pig was in his house of sticks. When there came a knock on the door, it was a wolf. He said, gLittle pig, little pig, let me come in.h The little pig said, gNot by the hairs of my chinny chin chin. I will not let you in.h So the wolf said, gIfll huff, and Ifll puff, and Ifll blow your house down. And he huffed, and he puffed and he blew down the house made of sticks. And he ate the second little pig. The third little pig was living in his house made of bricks. And there came a knock on the door one night. gLittle pig, little pig, let me come in,h said the wolf. gNot by the hairs of my chimney, chin, chin,h said the third little pig. And so the wolf said, gThen Ifll huff, and Ifll puff, and Ifll blow your house down.h And so he huffed, and he puffed, and he huffed and he puffed but he couldnft blow down the house made of bricks. And so he started to climb on to the roof. The third little pig heard him climbing. And so he lit a whirring fire underneath the chimney. And on top of the fire, he put a big pot of water to boil. The wolf climbed up on to the roof. And eventually he found the chimney. He climbed and slipped down the chimney hoping to catch the little pig but at the bottom gSplashh he fell straight into the pot of boiling water. And the little pig was safe. The next day, the little pig lived in the house of bricks invited his mother over tea. And he said to his mother, gMother, I tried my best.
